Welcome To
Oakwood Bistro

The Oakwood Bistro offers the best dining experience in Kalamazoo. Our mouthwatering menus of food and wine alike will excite and surprise even the most sophisticated and discerning palate.

Our restaurant offers a full bar featuring microbrews, nightly martini specials, and a wine list which is considered by many to be one of the best around. We are best known for our use of many fresh, local ingredients, outstanding nightly dinner features, and menu favorites like our blackened salmon with a fresh mango pico served over a jerked sweet potato and bacon hash or our clams & baccala.

 

The Oakwood Bistro can accommodate up to 35 people in a large banquet area inside of our restaurant, offers carryout service, and is also available to provide individualized catering to small or large functions in Kalamazoo and its surrounding areas.

A taste of New Orleans, this dish brings authentic Louisiana cuisine to Kalamazoo. Enjoy shrimp like it was meant to be enjoyed, Blackened gulf shrimp, andouille sausage & cherry tomatoes sautéed with red eye gravy. Served with jalapeno hush puppies.

An Angus beef patty braised in Bell’s Amber Ale, topped with lettuce, tomato & red onion on a brioche bun. Served with Parmesan potato wedges.

Herb crusted & pan seared, served with white cheddar mashed potatoes & sautéed green beans. Drizzled with meyer lemon aioli, fried capers & extra virgin olive oil.
